ELIZABETH C. PINES is founder of Elizabeth C. Pines, PA, with an extensive family and business client base in her immigration practice. 

After receiving her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Miami in 1985, she received her Master of Business Administration Degree there in 1988, and then continued on to St. Thomas University School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctorate Degree in August of 1994.

Ms. Pines has appeared on a number of television talk shows related to immigration, including that of Marta Susana and Maria Elvira Confronta, as well as a number of radio programs, including guest appearances on Union Radio.  She has authored immigration advice articles for the column in El Venezolano, a leading Venezuelan newspaper based in Miami, Florida, and her letters to the Editor of various newspapers have been published regarding immigration issues.   Her work has also included immigration seminars for various educational and non-profit institutions.

Ms. Pines was recently nominated and selected for membership in the Wedgworth Leadership Institute, a program created to develop and refine the leadership capabilities of young leaders who, in turn, will be prepared to become increasingly involved in policy formation at the State level. Ms. Pines was recently appointed to serve as Board Director at the League of Women Voters in Miami-Dade County.

Ms. Pines has always been active in the immigration community, participating in lobbying activities with AILA, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, where she has been an active member since 1996.  Ms. Pines sits on the Board of AILA Southern Florida Chapter.
